Sumit crossed the doorstep of entrepreneurship by co-founding Truemind Capital in 2014 and has established it as one of the biggest fee-only private wealth management companies in northern India.
Throughout his extensive career, which spans over 18 years, he has excelled in the fields of Investment Research and Analysis and Private Wealth Management.

Sumit is the visionary Co-Founder and CEO of Truemind Capital. During his engineering days at IIT-BHU, he recognized that his true passion actually lies in the world of finance. Inspired by pioneers such as Warren Buffett, Sumit gained clarity about his career aspirations—To establish his own investment management company! He considers himself fortunate to have discovered his ambition at the beginning of his career.
Following a successful start in mutual fund research analysis, Sumit deepened his expertise by completing all three levels of the CFA program, which equipped him with a robust foundation in portfolio management and fundamental equity research. His career then took him to some of India’s largest financial institutions, where he gained firsthand insight into the wealth management industry. Observing the prevalent focus on commissions over client-centered advice, he determined to forge a different path.
In 2014, Sumit co-founded Truemind Capital with a commitment to transform private wealth management in India by adhering to an unbiased, fee-only advisory model. As a SEBI-registered investment advisor, Truemind Capital eliminates the conflict of interest and focuses on providing customized, professional, and transparent services to its clients

Sumit’s compassion expands beyond human beings to all living beings. He has cared for many dogs, cats, and birds since his childhood. His aim is to contribute to an animal shelter to care for stray or abandoned animals & birds in distress.
